Multiorgan-on-a-Chip

The workshop focuses on the potential of multi-organs-on-chip devices for simulating complex physiological processes in the human body. Technical challenges in developing and operating these devices include integrating multiple organ systems, maintaining physiological conditions, and ensuring reproducibility. The first half of the workshop will consist of invited lectures covering various aspects of developing multi-organs-on-chip devices, including design strategies to compartmentalize multiple cell types, fluid connectivity between multiple cell types and shared media formulation. The second half of the workshop will involve hands-on activities, where participants will have the opportunity to query and analyze different aspects of multi-organs-on-chip device development. The workshop aims to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of the potential and challenges of multi-organs-on-chip devices and develop practical skills in multi-organs-on-chip device development.
